Wow, long time no journal.  Been over a year now~

A lot has happened in the past year.  I finally graduated from college with a Bachelor's in Anthropology.  I spent a few months job hunting before finally landing a gig with FedEx.  Didn't stay there long before moving on to an awesome job as an interpretive specialist at an archaeological park.  Sadly, that too didn't last as long as I was hoping.  I ended up getting laid off because of budget cuts.  Found myself working at Walmart for a bit before running off to Japan for an archaeological field school in Hokkaido.  Got back from that and, thanks to the fact that its the off season for most of the work I would look for, I'm currently working at a Verizon Wireless call center.

So...that pretty much gets everything up to speed.  But to the point: THE BIG NEWS!  None of the rest of this would mean much without the fact that the universe has blessed me with the single greatest thing in my life: my dear sweet ~luvs2sketch  Realizing what she meant to me, and that after over a decade of being best friends and soul mates I simply couldn't picture my life without her anymore, I finally took the greatest step in my life.  I proposed.  I honestly think I'm the luckiest guy in the world.  I've got work, the girl of my dreams (a love that most people only do just that: dream of; it is truly the thing of fairy tales) and a supportive family.  I always wanted to live a legend, a grand adventure, and with her by my side I know I can and will do just that.  I've done a lot in my life so far, probably a lot more than many people my age, but I know that the best is still ahead.  So towards that future we shall march, together.  Perhaps someday you too will know of our legend~  In the meantime, we've got one hell of an adventure to live.  *grin*
